The West Yorkshire Healthtech and Digital Investment Zone is a partnership between local government and universities, bringing new investment to help companies boost innovation, jobs and growth in our thriving health and life sciences sector.

It will boost innovation in the area’s thriving healthcare sector, create a talent pipeline at the forefront of technological advances, and act as a catalyst for long-term growth and jobs to deliver benefits directly to communities.

    With over 600 life sciences companies, 250 MedTech firms and over 90 digital health enterprises, accounting for 22% of all UK digital health jobs, West Yorkshire is a place where ideas come to fruition and innovative products and solutions are tested, embedded and scaled locally and internationally.

Enterprise Zones

The Enterprise Zones programme consists of 10 sites across West Yorkshire. Supported by Growth Deal funding, the sites are able to be built on to provide high standard premises for expanding businesses or businesses new to the West Yorkshire. Companies locating within the Enterprise Zone can benefit from a range of incentives depending on the site.
